unnecessary "ing construction" is used in B C D n E.
hence IMO A.

Thanks!

Paralelism is only correct in A - 'a critique' / 'a vision'.

Is A the OA? Let us know, please.

Parallelism also present in (E). (A) seems to me awkward. Hence I will go with choice (E).

What is OA?

A critique is more apt (Eliminate D/E)
A CRITIQUE ……AS WELL AS A VISION (parallel….his emvisioning …not parallel)
A correct

The OA is A . However, "since Robert Boyle"?. This really tripped me up. What is "since Robert Boyle?"

Shouldn't it be something like "the times of Robert Boyle" or "since Robert Boyle conducted experiment XYZ?"

This doesn't make sense to me. Can someone please explain? Thanks.

As per me, It should be B.
As in A ,
"a critique of all chemistry since Robert Boyle as well as a vision of a"
Robert Boyle is not similar to vision of a new chemistry. So we cannot use AS WELL AS
