GMAT Math Bible Advice

by greatchap » Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:58 am
Hello Everyone,

I intend to give GMAT after two months. Though my prep in quant is okay, I still want a book apart from og or kaplan.

I came across Princeton GMAT Math Bible. Details are on website www.princetongmat.com. Has anyone purchased this book or know about it. Priced at $99 its expensive.

Moreover how is Gmat math bible ebook by Jeff. I want one of these so that I can improve my quant prep.

Advice or info will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Cheers,
GR

I can't speak to the Princeton Math Bible other than that fact that it is definitely NOT from the company Princeton Review. To me it seems to make some pretty ourtageous claims. Average score of 50 and 50% score a perfect score....and then it says you should get the math bible if youre looking for 650-700+. I dunno...I certainly woudlnt buy it...in my opinion there's no way any of that is true.

Jeff's GMAT math bible is great though. I bought it a couple weeks ago and it has helped me a lot. Makes everything very easy to understand. I woudlnt say it's for someone looking to go from 650-750 though. I definitely think it will help me get from 550-650.

Yeah, I agree with tnis ... the Princeton book looks really sketchy to me. I still haven't seen any reviews, I guess everybody else also thinks it looks questionable and isn't buying.

I also have the GMAT Hacks math bible, I thought it was great. I also just bought Jeff's challenge practice sets, hoping those will get me over the 700 mark.

ya most definitely too shady. For math you should look at MGMAT, and also Kaplan has good fundamentals.
