Manhattan Practice Test 620

by koryshae » Thu Dec 23, 2010 12:16 pm
12/19/2010 GMAT PREP Practive test: Q31; V 22 460 overall.

I had not studied any verbal at all. After the test I did SC in the OG & read the Princeton Review on SC. I also developed a strategy for RC.

Today I completed a Manhattan practice test today Q:39 57%; V35 77% 620 overall.

I need a 520. Any thoughts on how my studying/practice test should continue?

Thanks,

Just give the 2nd GMAT Prep test. You might cross your target. If you do cross 520, register for the GMAT and give the test. Good Luck!!

Hi,

It's nice that your verbal score increased by 13 points.
How did you study for RC?
& what was the interval between two tests.

Thanks !

And I'm back...sorry about the delay...had an email snafu.

I had not studied verbal at all after taking first test, I then us the Princeton review for SC guidance and did some OG 12 RC questions (Since I have completed every question in the OG 12th RC and greatly increased my hit rate). I do however need to work some RC under time constraint. I also read the one RC question prior to reading the caption.

Yeah I was afraid I would hear that....I was trying to save my last "quality exam" for when I was 99% sure I was there. Have you ever taken any of the Manhattan tests? Or has anyone taken them that can comment on the score as compared to actual score.

Thanks,
