Hi everyone and thanx for this blog!
please, tell me what you think about my profile:
gender: male
age: 25
nationality: european :D (non-english speaker)
GMAT score: 730
Toefl IBT: 108/120
years of work experience: 3 (1 of which was an interniship before my graduation)
industry: finance
GPA: 4.0
Field of study: engineering
as you know round 2 is closing for most of the mba programs and unluckily I didn't have time to start with the application process for any of the programs I'm interested in; I don't want to apply in round 3, chances to be admitted are too slim.
however the MBA from Columbia Business School has a longer round 2 than that of other programs, starting from january 7th and ending on march 4th. I'm seriously thinking about applying to Columbia, focusing my sthrenghts on 1 MBA application only. Considering that I have strong reccomendations, what do you think my chances to be admitted will be??
my fear: I am an engineer and a finance guy (the pool of applicants is FULL of guys like me), so I think I have to find a way in my essay to make myself as much "diverse" as I can...
option B: and what if I wait and apply next year in round 1 to 3-4 MBA programs?
Thanx for the advice!
