evaluation

by hittomiss45 » Wed Dec 17, 2008 8:33 pm
Hello...

I recently took the GMAT and got a 630 on it. I have 1 year of work experience as a Executive Team Leader at Target Co. I graduated from suny geneseo with a 3.3. I have also been a Tae Kwon Do coach for several universities for over 3 years which gave me alot of leadership experience. I was born in Russia and am fluent in russian and spanish.

What schools would you recommend for me?

I am looking to apply at Cornell, University of Buffalo, Penn State, and University of Binghamton.

Hello,

You clearly have a lot to offer the MBA programs. With the exception of Cornell, the programs you’ve identified would be appropriate targets. Cornell would be beyond a reasonable reach, in my view.

I don’t know your goals, so I can’t recommend additional programs, for which goals would be a factor. But it looks like you have some good options already. You might consider Fordham if you’re interested in attending downstate.

Good luck with your MBA plans!

Would going to penn state which is twice as much for tuition as university of buffalo benefit me more in the long run...i know they both have been ranked in the top 50 but penn state has been consistently higher ranked...so what would be the better option?
