If K = 4.2xy56, where x and y represent single digits, what is the value of x ?
A, When K is rounded to the nearest tenth, the result is 4.3
B, When K is rounded to the nearest hundrenths , the result is 4.27

I solved it as :
Rephrase : X,y + integers. X or tenth decimal = ?
1, x might be between any number 5 to 9 for 4.3
So insufficient
2, If y = 0 then k = 4.27 , so x = 7
If y = 9 , then K = 4.26 , so x = 6
So insufficient
E

Is my strategy Right?

Yep, testing together, x could be 6 or 7, and because there are multiple possibilities, the statements together are not sufficient.
