Hi - I read someone's strategy about going through all of the AWA topics listed on the mba.com site and then came to a worthwhile question... what if I spend countless hours studying them and then somewhere down the road in the next couple of months they change all of the topics!! That leads me to this post... does anyone know how often they change the topics on the official MBA.com AWA list??
Thanks,
CincyGmatCat

Well I guess they do that every time they come up with a new OG edition and according to many people we can expect a new OG next year (this information is not based on any official GMAC communication). But I dont think you should be be spending so much time studying the different AWA topics. Your AWA score is not as important as your GMAT score and certainly not a deciding factor in your admissions (unless it is really bad). Just practice a few topics and have a template ready to deal with any topic and you will do fine.

Yeah... I hear what you're saying, but I guess part of it is just the "mind at ease" factor... like knowing that I've already seen the topic at the beginning of the test will set the tone for me not being so nervous that I can't concentrate...good advice though, nonetheless.
Thanks Gabriel!
