Verbal Strategy

Hi,

I have been preparing for more than a month now. I have started with Verbal as it is my weak area. I have completed studying the basics (for SC, CR and RC) and am practicing questions from BTG forum. However, I have not started solving OG 12 questions.

My question is which one of the below 2 options would be a better strategy.
Option 1: Complete all OG 12 verbal questions and then start Quants.
Option 2: Start refreshing Quants basics from MGMAT books and solve OG 12 verbal questions in parallel.

I am planning to take GMAT in January 2012.

I'd suggest working in parallel. It makes me nervous when students say they will first do one section, then the other. You're never going to be "done" with either, so you should consistently work on both. I'm fine with leaning more heavily Verbal or more heavily Quant at first, but to keep up skills in all areas, you really need to never fully put any one section aside.

Option 2 gets my vote.

I voted for option 1 cos i felt that u need to do OG (be it verbal or quant) before going into other books. But i fully agree with VivianKerr and second that u shouldn't just work on a particular section of gmat! :)
