Book is OK. Good for overall concept review and strategies. However, I prefer the Manhattan books because they have better strategies for the questions and go into more detail.

I just finished the Kaplan Premier Book. It was the first book I used thanks to suggestions from this forum. The book gives some strategies and a nice overview of the test. It's probably your best starting-off point if you're new to the GMAT. Depending on how much time you have to study, spend more time on the OG and other materials.
