I really want to go to nyu do you believe in the fact that part-time is easier to get into than full-time or vice-versa?
I am flexible to apply to either.

My profile is as follows:
GPA not so hot but due to medical reasons during college
GMAT still studying for
Work Experience 4 yrs at a top finance firm, than consulting on my own
Extra Curric - great, tons of leadership experience from a few well known non-for profits

I was hoping to apply for Fall but I would wait till spring if necessary. I just am trying to kil myself stufying for the gmat to offset my lackluster gpa.

Any advice?

Hi hudsn,

I think some of the academic requirements are less stringent for part time at NYU than full time. Work experience may be more important for part time however, and it's best for students who plan to remain in their current jobs.

For full time, you want to apply as early in the process as possible. Though R1 and R2 aren't very different, R3 is incredibly competitive.

Thanks Amy. I am going to see how the gmat goes if not I may wait till the spring. Obviously I want to score as high as possible and ofset my fair gpa & want to avoid R3. I am hoping I will be able to leverage my volunteer leadership.
I also have some business graduate credits from a NY school & some classes post-undergrad from a community college totaling about 20 or so credits all of which are A's, except for one B in accounting
