\(a, b,\) and \(c\) are integers. Is \(abc = 0?\)

(1) \(a^2 = 2a\)
(2) \(\dfrac{b}{c} = \dfrac{(a+b)^2 }{a^2 + 2ab + b^2} - 1;\) where \(a\) does not equal \(-b\) and \(c\) does not equal \(0.\)
