1) The ratio of the number of bills to the total dollar value is 1/9.
2) The total dollar value of the bills is $360.

$5 \(\Rightarrow\) x
$10 \(\Rightarrow\) y

Statment 1:
number of bills \(= x+y\)
value of bill \(= 5x + 10y\)

So, \(\frac{(x+y)}{(5x+10y)} = \frac{1}{9}\).

From this \(\frac{x}{y}\) can be found. Sufficient \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)

Statement 2:
\(5x+10y = 360\).

From this \(\frac{x}{y}\) cannot be found. Insufficient \(\Large{\color{red}\chi}\)

Therefore, the correct answer is A
