What's the best way to determine whether statement 1 is sufficient? Can any experts explain?
Given x and y are positive integers, and x divided by y leaves a remainder 10, x < y. The minimum value of x = 10 and y = 11. See that x/y = 10/11; remainder = 10. The minimum value of x*y = 10*11 = 110.
