Is it neccessary to study grammar before SC?

by selango » Wed May 12, 2010 2:06 am
Hi all,

I am an Indian guy and preparing for GMAT for past 2 months.

I am planning to appear for GMAT in July mid.

As per now I have completed CR and going to start SC.

Is it neccessary to study the grammar b4 moving to SC?(I have bought Doing Grammar book). Also please suggest any other books for grammar.

Please let me know in this.

yes if your foundation is shaky

Powerscore SC has a grammar section before you get into the errors of Sentence Correction

Even I agree with this. There are very few questions on real GMAt that can directly be solved , based only on the 7-8 categeroes. Most of the questions are clubbed with basic grammar errors. So better to study basic grammar first.
SC bible has the basic grammar initially. SO you can start with it.
