The father has 2 sons
Target question = How much wealth did the father have?

Statement 1=> The elder son received 3/5 of the wealth.
Elder son = 3/5
Second son = 2/5
But this doesn't tell us about the total wealth. So statement 1 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Statement 2=> The younger son received $30,000
The amount received by the elder son is unknown, so, statement 2 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Combining both statements together=>
From statement 1 => Elder son = 3/5; younger son = 2/5
From statement 2 => Younger son = $30,000
So for younger son => 2/5 = 30,000; then
$$For\ elder\ son=>\frac{3}{5}=\frac{\frac{3}{5}\cdot30000}{\frac{2}{5}}$$
$$=$45000$$
Therefore, father's wealth = $45000 + $30000 = $75000
Both statements combined together is SUFFICIENT. Answer = option C
