[x] is the greatest integer less than or equal to x
\(\Rightarrow\) Eg: [1.2] = 1
[3.4] = 3
[-2.5] = -3 so on ...

[Ï€^2 - 10] = [(3.14)^2 - 10]
= [-0.14]
= -1

[x] means round down.

Ï€^2 - 10
≈ (3.14)^2 - 10
≈ 9.86 - 10
= -0.14.
Therefore, [-0.14] = -1 since -1 is the greatest integer less than or equal to -0.14.

Therefore, the answer is C.
