Which of the following rations is most nearly equal to the ratio of 1+sqt5 to 2?

1. 8 to 5
2. 6 to 5
3. 5 to 4
4. 2 to 1
5. 1 to 1

i think one way of doing it quickly is to approximate the values
sqrt(5) ~ 2.24
{1+sqrt(5)]/2 ~ 1.6

and only option A comes close. hope it helps.
