How is LPU approved by UGC?

by Manan_LPU » Sun Feb 19, 2023 9:09 pm
The University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India in charge of organising, developing, and maintaining the standards of higher education in India, has recognised Lovely Professional University under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

The universities established by a federal or state law are valid institutions of higher education. Degrees awarded by accredited universities are recognised under Section 22 of the UGC Act of 1956, provided that the programme in question has received approval from the applicable Statutory Professional Council (s).

In my capacity as an LPU member, I shall further detail my accreditation as follows:
College Grants Commission, first (UGC)

Organization Of Indian Universities (AIU)

Number Three: National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)

India's Pharmacy Council (PCI)

ICAR

COA

Accreditation by ACBSP

Indian Bar Council (BCI)

The Institution of Engineers (India)

Indian Institute of Town Planners (ITPI)

You can consult LPU's official website for more details

How is LPU approved by UGC?

by Sankalp Shrivastava » Mon Feb 20, 2023 9:46 am
Under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory authority of the Government of India responsible for organising, promoting, and maintaining the standards of higher education in India, has recognised Lovely Professional University. The universities created under the authority of a federal or state legislation are legitimate institutions of higher learning. Section 22 of the UGC Act of 1956 recognises degrees from authorised institutions as long as the programme in issue has gained approval from the relevant Statutory Professional Council (s).

I will go on to further describe my credentials as an LPU member as follows:
The College Grants Commission (UGC), Indian Universities Organization (AIU), National Council for Teacher Education is ranked third (NCTE), The Pharmaceutical Council of India (PCI), ICAR, COA, ACBSP accreditation, Indian Bar Association (BCI), The Institution of Engineers (India) and Indian Institute of Town Planners (ITPI).

Thank you!!
