Hello all,
I have been studying for GMAT for 15 days. I have taken the practice exam on www.mba.com website and I received about 510 (Without the time limit) Also, I have started reading Kaplan and OG edition 12. I only study 2.5 to 3 hours during the weekdays and and 2 hours on weekend. I was just wondering how many hours should I study and what books do you suggest for me to read. My goal is to hit 600 when I take my exam on October. Keep in mind, I will have to study less once the school start on August 22nd. Also, as you can see from my writing, I'm not a native speaker. I would really like to increase my reading comprehension, and any suggestion, I would highly appreciate it.

We recommend you to keep taking practise tests to gauge your performance. It will help you in identifying your weak areas and you can focus on them accordingly.

There are various ways you can use to practise for your GMAT. You might need to change your practise style and try this combination to provide you flexibility and different styles to practise so it doesn't get monotonous.

It could be combination of-

1-Books- Books like- The Official Guide for GMAT Review, The Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review, The Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review etc could be used.

2-Online Study Guide: Websites like Knewton, Grockit etc provide you with practise questions online.

3-Smart phone applications- Kaplan, Veritas etc offer applications to prepare for GMAT on your smart phones.
