If O is the center of the circle shown above, what is the measure of x?

A. 30°
B. 40°
C. 50°
D. 80°
E. 100°

The OA is B.

I'm really confused with this PS question. Please, can any expert assist me with it? Thanks in advanced.

The arc corresponding to angle x is 360 - 180 - 100 = 80 degrees. Since angle x is an inscribed angle it’s equal to 80/2 = 40 degrees.

Answer: B
