edirik,

Sorry to hear that your score was below what you expected. But don't loose hope. Take a few days to replenish and relax then get back to your preparation. I think you are a quant genius so i'd suggest that you focus 65% of your prep time on verbal. Start from the basics. MGMAT's SC guide would be a very good place to start. Moreover, if you buy the book you can also gain access to MGMAT's 6 prep tests which are also pretty good. If you have exhausted the OG 11 book then you might want to buy the OG Verbal supplement and start practicing. There are a few good ways to study for the CR section. One method that i followed was to read the stimulus and then write down (shortly) the premise, the argument and the conclusion. This give you a good idea of the overall statement and then eliminate each answer one by one based on the information you have. For example, for a weaken question, since I clearly know the conclusion, I can directly pick the answer choice that directly shatters the conclusion. Please browse thro' our GMAT resources section for more information on how to prepare for the GMAT Verbal section.

In sum, don't loose hope, relax and then start preparing. Book a date only one you find your verbal score in the range you want it too. And also remember to stay in touch with Quant, its your forte and you want to ace it the second time too, right?! :)

All the best!
