I am sure this question has been asked before, but I have heard mixed reviews and hence would like your expert opinion. I am a mechanical engineer from India, with 7 years of experience, working in Minneapolis. I am currently 32 and it will take me atleast two years to be able to attend a full time MBA program without jeopardizing my visa status. My goal, upon completion of the MBA program, is to find oppurtunites in strategy and international business. Given that I am wanting to change my field, I was wondering, if it was even worth considering a PT program (even the top five!), as from what I have heard the chances of changing my field are minimal. If I waited for two years and then pursued a full time MBA, would my age ( I would be 36/37 upson graduation) be an issue with respect to finding a good oppurtunity? I would be glad, if you could help me with the aforesaid.
