So there are a variety of practice tests that test different type of GMAT questions, none being on par with GMAT PREP while scoring rubric's are also different. The 800 score calculator is a great tool to check what your score really looks like, but its accuracy has been called into question on certain occasions, and in my experience I have seen conflicting scores, the maximum difference I've seen is about 20 points for the same input of scaled scores. Also consider, that Power Prep tests, (ETS) and and 2006 GMAC DO have errors.
With all this aside, I've heard that GMAC has made some changes over the years for your total score based on scaled scores albeit not drastic. So does anyone have any information on the minor changes of score calculation? So far, I've been scoring consistently at 640+ with a margin of difference of about 20-30 points on GMAT PREP. Thoughts and opinions of the different calculations for scoring would be appreciated.
Thank you
