You're probably not gonna like this answer either, but the truth is, it depends.

The program you choose really depends on your career goals. The "international" version is the biggest section of the MSc program offerings (half of all MSc students, or about 90, are in this track), while there are about half as many students in the marketing track (under 40), with another 40 or so in the finance track. If you want the specialized marketing education, then there ya go! If you want the more generalized education - which still includes marketing and finance - then the International Management option is better. You'll get access to the same career services in either case, and the format and structure of the programs are very similar. You wouldn't be "locked into" a marketing job if you took the Marketing Management track but it would obviously be much easier to get a more specialized position coming out with that degree (note that in general, marketing jobs often pay a little less than some other post-MBA positions - this totally depends on what type of job and type of company of course). ESADE works hard to get the right job openings for its students and they have good relationships and a good reputation for this marketing track.

The main difference is if you want to really concentrate on marketing - then the Mktg Mgmt track is awesome. If you want an education that more closely resembles a standard two-year MBA, then the Intl Mgmt track is more appropriate. You get the basic "core" courses as you would with an MBA with the Intl Mgmt - including some marketing - but with the Mktg Mgmt you do NOT get that same foundation (no finance, for example, unless you take it as an elective).

ESADE is a great school! You would do well with either flavor of master's. It really depends on what you want to do with it!

But if i just ask u to pick one which would that be? ( i am actually looking which one u would suggest me and btw i am majoring in marketing in my bachelors)

Sorry, vaibhavgupta, that's actually impossible for us to do without knowing a LOT more about your background and your goals!!! (And even then, this is a very personal decision - you don't want to outsource your future to a stranger like that! )

I actually have a business degree with the similar courses. The reason why i am going for an MSC degree right now is to actually be able to work in a different country for some duration (say 5+ years) and then think of going into public sector or do an executive masters (maybe).

So i am basically looking for an Msc with good placement records. (which i think ESADE has)
