Dear aspirant As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to appear for LPUNEST, for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website.

Dear candidate , in LPU you are not eligible for taking admission in B.tech programme as you got only 58% in 12th class. But there is no need to worry , you can still take admission in other courses with this percentage , such as - BCA , BBA , BBA (IT) , B.com , B.Sc. (Hons) Economics , BBA (Tourism and Hospitality) , BBA (Airlines and Airport management) , B.Sc. (Hotel Management) , B.Sc. (Bakery and Pastry Management) , Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) , B.Sc. (Culinary Arts) , BHMCT, B.Sc (Airlines,Tourism and Hospitality) etc.

I hope this helps, Thank you .
