One thing people have done is to take up pre-MBA courses to be more prepared for core courses. Mentioning this in the applications could help address some of the concerns about your academic capability to keep pace.

No worries, you may check online courses, such as GMAC Essential Prep, MBA Math, MBA IQ or similar offerings, or attend live courses to brush up on the relevant foundational courses in basic finance, accounting, and economics
