Manhattan Quant books

Can some body comment on quality of Quant books of Manhattan?
Do these books cover Probability, Permutation and Combination?
How are the practice questions of these books?

These books cover basics like fundas or practice....please comment....

Hey are good books, but dont really have a great explinations for problems. They just provide the ansewer with minimal verbal explination. If you are decent at quant, it will be a great refresher for you. But i am not, so i have to keep doing them over and over. I bet they would have been great in the actual class, which i did not attend.

I will leave the question of how good they are (since I work for the company), but we do cover probability, combinatorics, and all of the actual math rules, formulas, etc, that will show up on the test.

I just bought the ARCO's math review which has very good step by step explinations for math problems. I am using it to augment the MGMAT books for basics i just dont understand.

ARCO's book is really good for basics. Do you think for those of us who are not taking the MGMAT course it is better if we buys their Quant materials to gain more practice for those 600-700 level ques.?

I am no expert, but a friend of mine at work actually turned me on to the MGMAT books. He jumped from a 610 to 680 by using their books. I thought i could achieve the same results, but i am absolutely horrilbe at math so i bought the ARCOs book to help.
