Statement 1
The product x=20;
xy=20
possible cases are x=5 and y=4 OR x=-5 and y=-5
Information provided is not enough to arrive at a possible value of y hence statement 1 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Statement 2
x is a prime number
this does not say anything about y hence statement 2 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Combining both statements together
if x is a prime number the possible value of y=4 or -4 hence absolute value of y is +4

both statements together are SUFFICIENT.
