Cliches

Hello Stacey,

Could you please mention few of the most common cliches that I need to avoid while finalizing my essays. I have used the term "leverage" or "leveraging" in a few of my essays, so I would definitely ask if that is also something which should not be there.

Thank You very much,
Niladri.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. I see your point in not wanting to appear cliche or redundant in your applications, but I really can't think of anything that should be avoided. As long as you are aware of repetition and try to avoid it you should be in good shape.

Best,

Stacey
