Hi All,

I'm a prospective MBA/EMBA candidate. I'm sort of on the borderline in terms of ideal age and experience so I've considered both programs. I have a good sense for what post-Full Time MBA careers and salaries look like given all the published data out there, but I'm interesting in hearing about the career impacts for those who have gone through an EMBA program. What is "recruitment" like (if any exists)? How does it differ from a full time program and how is it the same? Are there meet and greet type networking/recruiting events like there are in the FT programs?

I'll start off by saying I know the basics - no internship with an EMBA, EMBA better if you're not a career switcher, and IB harder to break into from EMBA. But has anyone been recruited to a MBB firm from an EMBA program? What about private equity or venture capital? I currently work in Corporate Development and have a little private equity experience as well, and if I got accepted to an EMBA program I'm curious about pursuing a career in management consulting with an MBB type place.

Or for those who aren't in consulting, banking, etc - how has your career/salary benefitted from the EMBA degree either during the program or post graduation?
