I just took the GMAT and scored above my target overall score. I was targeting a ~750 with a mid 80s math percentile and a mid 90s verbal percentile. However, my math percentile was lower than my target and was impacted by the fact that I mis-timed the break and started a minute and a half late. I am wondering whether my results warrant a re-take or whether I am over thinking the result? The MBA programs I am planning to apply to have a median score of ~730 and a range of 580-790. While I am comfortable that my overall score is above the median, would my math percentile be problematic? I had heard that top MBA programs would like to see percentiles above 80, but on the other hand, have also heard that they just consider the overall score. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. Thanks.
