I have my sights set on Fischer at Ohio State. I am interested in the specialized master of science in finance. I took the GMAT today and scored q42, v33. I usually average 47-48 on quantitative and a 28-29 on verbal. I plan to take the GMAT again in one month and i am striving for at least a 680. I struggle the most with data sufficiency questions involving geometry and high level equation questions. In verbal, I struggle with SC and RC.
First, with outstanding essays and recommendations, a 3.38 GPA from undergrad and 1 year work exp with 7 months at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. Would this and 620 be sufficient for Ohio State or would a 680+ be the only way. If so, does any have a recommended study plan or an online course for one month to raise my verbal 5 points and also make sure i keep quantitative at 47+?
Thanks.
