As an experienced labor organizer and the former head of one of the nation’s most powerful labor unions, Grayson is an excellent choice to chair the new council on business-labor relations.

(A) The new council must have the support of the nation’s labor leaders if it is to succeed.

IMO B.

Graysom was organizer and leader of labour union. However, the conclusion is for the Job of business - labor relation. So If Grayson has good relations with business leaders then he will be a best choice for the Job

imo b....coz he was labor leader now if his relations are good with business ppl, he can understand n can work better

There is no much rationale behind my selection of E. :)

However After arriving at the contenders that are B and E, it seemed that E is more stronger than B. E strengthens the conclusion by closing the gap in the argument.

B seemed out of scope. Grayson's past relationship with Business leaders need not qualify him to become a chair of the new council.
