This is how I approached it:

if a < 0

Then (-a)(b)< (-a)(c)

when you divide both sides by (-) you would get b>c since dividing by a negative sign switches the inequalities.

In this case it doesn't matter what numbers b and c because you are not dividing anything by b or c

If c < 0 , a can be pos or neg. So when you divide by a positive a you get b<c and when you divide by a negative a you would get b>c. So Ans choice B does not work
