So my immediate question to the teachers was why in that case the kids needed to attend a bricks and mortar seminary at all ?

a) why in that case the kids needed to attend
b) why in that case did the kids need to attend.
c) why in that case do the kids need to attend
d) In that case, why do the kids need to attend
e) why in that case did the kids needed to attend

a question is asked, hence 'why' is necessary. Eliminate D.
Intent of question is to ask a question that why teachers sent kids to attend bricks and mortar
