What does the exhibition makes clear? the Nubians or sth about the Nubians?! - thus A and C are clearly out.
(B) that the Nubians combined artistic elements from Egypt to that - you see? yeahh! they tricks you on this idiom you look at it and think "OK great! from X to Y Egypt is parallel to sub-Saharan Africa - I will choose this!"
- WRONG! - this the way they trick you. Logically "that" does not refer to anything in the sentence.
(E) that Nubians combined artistic elements from Egypt and those - Does it seem ok to you?! I would have chosen this because everything is fine here. I don't know whether combine A and B or combine A with B is right.
the trick is that in E "that Nubians", (defined as "the site of a Black civilization" ) combined artisti� elements.
People can combine elements, but not sites.
