Your score depends on a lot more than the number of questions right. As I'm sure you know, the GMAT is adaptive - meaning that if you get a question right, it gives you a harder question next. If you get a question wrong, it gives you an easier question next. Harder questions are worth more points.
It's possible to score very well and be getting every other question wrong, towards the end of the test.
