Dear acollegestudent,
Thanks for your post about HBS 2+2!
You clearly have the kind of academic results (760/3.7) and the leadership/professional experience to be competitive for this unique program. It's also impressive to see how many activities you are juggling: each of them will add some value - assuming you can avoid giving the impression that you are over-extended, or not really dedicated to any one area, etc.
The one downside is that you may not stand out from the field when it comes to your course of study (economics). As the HBS adcom has stated on numerous ocassions, the 2+2 program has been designed to help capture candidates who might not ordinarily be thinking about business careers. Here's a quote from a recent blog entry on our site:
The program got its start as a result of HBS taking a close look not at who was applying to the school but at who wasn’t applying, explains Kimmel. “We realized there was a real opportunity to start to talk to younger people who maybe would never have business or an MBA degree on their radar screen,” she says.
Specifically, HBS wanted to target scientists, engineers and liberal arts majors who might never have had the opportunity to fully consider careers in business. “We want to show how broad they are and how flexible the MBA degree is when you consider it against a law degree or medical degree,” Kimmel says.

In short, HBS may feel that they can fully expect to see your application in two years time if they reject you now, so you'll need to assemble a particularly compelling application that highlights your exceptional leadership capacity and unique plans (despite the more 'business traditional' economics major).
Feel free to send your resume to [email protected] if you are interested in speaking with one of our counselors about your 2+2 application. Clear Admit has been involved with 2+2 from the very beginning, and one of our co-founders was actually invited to speak to ugrads at Harvard about 2+2 admissions strategies when the program first launched.
