Hi I am looking for top MS Finance (not MFE) programs in US could you kindly advise me .
I have worked for 2 yrs as an equity trader in a Prop desk , and have 2.5 yrs of experience in top Reinsurance co . I have cleared Financial Risk Manager exam conducted by GARP , USA and CFA L1 , will be taking CFA L2 this june . I also have a Post graduate diploma in Financial markets I am also planning to take up Professional risk manager (PRM) exam conducted by PRIMIA , UK .
The reason I am taking MS Finance and not MBA is I have a strong inclination towards financial markets and having worked as a equity trader I would want to enhance my theoretical knowledge through MS Finance and build a strong network . My goal is to work in the area of asset management , Hedge fund or buy-side banks/insurance firms
I am yet to take GMAT (will be taking in june) . I am looking for a list of schools that offer MS Finance programs and their rankings . Like MBA I couldnt find any ranking/ratings for MS Finance program .I have a list of schools which I perceive to be really good but I have no clue whether I stand a chance
