IMO C
stmt 1 gives us that the angle is 95, so we still have 85 inside the weird square formed by the lines, but no other info... insuff
stmt 2 gives us similar thing than stmt 1 but regarding an angle that is 125, so the inside angle of the weird square is 55... insuff

1+2 together we know that inside the square we have 360 degrees, and we know that the bottom part is 85+55, so the other two are equal to 360-85+55... hence u can find x+y....
