'as much as' is the correct idiom. Original sentence is correct.

a little confused .... the option B also looks good to me ...
Is it because "so much as even " becomes redundant since "so much as" is used here for "even"...

Nope, it's really just idiomatic as givemeanid said.

as...as

None of the other constructions is correct.
