Planing to retake gmat

Friend i have taken gmat on 15 nov but scored very very low. I scored 400 only can you suggest me what to do. Actually i lost confidence in exam.I have taken official guide to Gmat and Kaplan for studying Gmat. I can fairly do well in maths but i am very week in english... Can you please suggest me some way of preparing english... I just got 3 correct out of 41 i guess and very very week in english Please help me... and when should i take Gmat again.... and will my first score affect in taking admission for mba.... :oops: :cry:

It sounds as though English is not your first language; that would explain a lot of your struggles! The best way for you to improve would simply be to start reading well written material in English to improve your language skills. Books, magazines, newspapers, whatever... just start reading!

Most schools only look at the highest score if you've taken the exam multiple times, but you need to check with whatever specific school(s) you're interested in to be sure.
