Dear Molt-llest,

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the lack of news from Columbia just yet. It's been just over 5 weeks since you applied and you happened to submit right around the ED deadline (which is typically marked by a flood of applications). In other words, it may take the adcom 6+ weeks to wade through all of the applications they received in early October.

Keep in mind that if/when you get an interview invitation, the process moves VERY quickly, with many candidates getting an admissions result within 1-2 weeks of the interview itself.
