BEAT THE GMAT!

by knicks497 » Sat Nov 15, 2008 6:38 pm
Not really, but here's a question...

I got a 650 the first time (44Q, 36V), then took it again today and got a 660 (44Q, 37V). However, this time i was extremely pressured with my verbal, and think I tanked the last 10-12 questions.

I think given that (and the difficulty of some of the reading comp questions), I was in the 40-41 verbal range.

Would it hurt me to take it a 3rd time? How do the admissions committees value taking it twice v three times?

Anyone know?

Thanks for those.

But does anyone know if there's a "penalty" for taking a test three times? I believe most schools just look at the highest, but do they look down upon multiple attempts?

You can visit the websites of schools you are planning to apply and check it out.

The schools I plan to apply do not mind multiple attempts.
