Hi Stacey,

I am Amit an Electrical Engineer from India. I have passed out from one of the premier Engineering Institutes of the country i.e. NIT Jamshedpur in the year 2003.I worked for three years with Vedanta Resources Inc.as a Project Engineer. In 2006 I joined Areva T&D India Ltd in the Project Management wing and working as Sr. Engineer. I have nice academic scores above 80% throughout.
I am planning to go for the GMAT this year and then apply for B-Schools which B Schools will be suitable for my profile and where shall I apply so that I can get admission.

Regards,
amit

I am afraid I cannot tell you where you should apply. There are so many great schools - all with different strengths and weaknesses. You will need to do some research and think about what is important to you. What are you looking for in a program? Because you are coming from a very common demographic, you should be sure to apply to a wide range of schools. Feel free to apply to a very competitive program, but also try to balance it out with some choices that are not so difficult to get into. To start your research, you might want to look at some of the rankings - BusinessWeek, US News, Economist.
