Goal is to get 700+. i have green, purple, yellow OG, as well as the Manhattan GMAT prep books. i took the Gmat Prep online test to gauge my strengths and weaknesses. I felt very rusty on math and pretty good on verbal (9 wrong out of 41).

what is the best method to boost my math score up toward the high 40s?

thanks!

I envy your verbal skills!

Manhattan GMAT is a very good start for your quant studies, and please do visit the math forums and get involve in the discussions.

If you complete all the OG problems, and understand the concepts, you can easily push 40-49.

I am sure you will improve your Verbal score as well, which will carry you 700+!

Perfect start man! Good luck!

thanks for the reply.

i did well on SAT verbal and work in a field requiring lots of writing, so probably kept my verbal skills sharp.

lots of the math stuff were things i totally forgot (geometry, algebra) which i can improve with review. i also bombed the data sufficiency questions and hopefully OG quant + gmat will give me tons of practice. thanks for the advice!
