Kaplan Sample Test Online vs Book

Hi guys,
I did the Kaplan's book test, and using their calculation (correct - 0.25 x wrong) and got 670. But when I was taking their free online test, I realized it was the exact same test as in the book. Plugging the exact same answers, I scored 710. Any idea why? And which one is the more accurate to the real thing?

I'm very skeptical about the Kaplan book test's scoring method. As far as I know, the scoring algorithm for the actual GMAT is more complicated. I can't tell you why you are receiving different scores from the book vs. online.
