Hi Karan,
I am not sure if I understood your questions correctly - but if you are applying to MBA programs for admission in 2010, then you can take the GMAT anytime before you submit your applications.

Just list out what you want?
so that I could answer accordingly.

Now lets assume that you want to join MBA on 2010 Fall. That means you're targeting for "class 2012" MBA. (for 2 years MBA program, obviously)
Unlike Inidan MBA, B-schools in USA usually starts accepting applications 10-12 months prior to the class. & is usually divided into 3/4 parts, known as rounds. (R1= Round 1 usually ends on october 2009 . R2~ Dec/Jan & Round 3 usually on April 2010.)
I suggest take GMAT when you're prepared; but before the deadlines of course(ie for R1 you should take GMAT before Sept 2009.) & apply to b-schools when you fully prepared & ready.

Hi all,

This is keerthi.
I am from Bangalore.. working with an IT firm and with 4+exp.
Not sure... what to consider for MBA... -> ISB, or any foreign institutes...

Now the queries part if its ISB- Hyd:
- I am trying for admission into ISB for 2009 April.
- For this must i give GMAT in Sep 08?
- How about rite from the application Processing to joining.
- Rite now i am at Trivandrum for some training...will be back to B'lore only after Aug 10th.
- So what's the best way to prepare for GMAt...

you can suggest me any foreign institutes as well...since i have very less time and i should join for MBA by 2009.

Hope i am not bothering you much..!

You need to take the GMAT prior to your application due date so your scores will be available. You can prepare in a variety of ways ranging from self-study using GMAT prep books to taking GMAT courses. Your preparation depends on your comfort level with the test. You can visit the Veritas blog (https://veritasprep.blocked/) for a free GMAT practice test.

Best of luck!
