Hi All,
I appeared for my GMAT on Sunday, 28th Sep and got 710 (Q49/V38). I am not really happy about my score (
) as i was scoring much better in my prep cats and was hopping to get something close to 740. But then i guess i screwed up in Quant (got 51 in all of my mocks..including the Manhattan mocks).
Anyways i think that this should be a decent score as i feel that giving the gmat again and geting 740 may not make a big difference and if i need 750+ then i will have to study for atleast for another 1 month. Dont have that much time since i need to look for a job as well (was with Lehman Bros.)
What do you guys feel about this? Should i give it again with a target of 750-760 or apply with 710? I told you what i feel is right but need more opinions on this. Please note that i am from India and working in IT (one of the biggest pool of candidates applying for MBA)
Also, I need some names of Books that are helpful for preparing your application for MBA. Jist tell me the names of the good ones....i dont mind in buying one of those...
