Insufficient: There may be only 1 negative number in the whole set. On the other hand, all the numbers can be negative ( If the size of the set is odd) or (n-1) numbers can be negative (If n is the size of the set and n is even).

B) There are 6 nos in S.

Insufficient: Same explanation as above.

Hence E is the answer.

Agree with Mani_mab but with elaborate explanation:

Statement 1 --> we dont know how many numbers are there in the set.
For example lets say S has 4 numbers. then here are possibilities:
-4,5,6,10 = -1200 or
-4,-5,-6,4,10 = -1200. So we cannot say if theer are more negative nos than postive nos or less. So this goes insuffcient.

Statement 2 --> If there are 6 numbers in S, then the possibilities are:
-1,2,3,4,5,10
-1,-2,-3,-4,-5,10
-1,-2,-3,4,5,10. So this also goes insufficient.

I explained the example in the statement2 by combining stmt(1) and stmt(2). Hence even combinely also, we cannot get the answer.

So Ans is E.
